N is for Newt

Today Jack went to the "N is for Newt" zoo class. We left the house early, but we were still 10 minutes late for class because apparently everyone in town thought it would be a great day for the zoo. I hate field trip season.

They have turned the misters back on and Jack was thrilled!

After that we all went to lunch and then we headed over to our friends' house to pick up our books from the last book order. In the car, Jack kept saying he wanted to make a red something, but I couldn't figure it out. Turns out he was saying, "journal," so we made one when we got home.

We watered the plants and played outside this afternoon. It was in the 90s!

Jack was actually asleep before 8:00, so I should be watching The Office right now. Instead I am listening to the weather men talking about damage from what may or may not have been a tornado twenty minutes ago. Sometimes I really don't like spring!
