A long, long time ago, Jay signed up with the Air Force. The separation date they gave us was June 29, 2009. I remember, because that would be the day before my 33rd birthday, and I told Jay that what I wanted that year was a plane ticket home and a house (I'm totally low-key for birthdays, huh?).Well, June 29, 2009 is here, and we're still with the Air Force for three more months. Why?
And she's still totally worth it.
