Easter Eggs

This is the time of year when everybody fills their blogs and facebook pages with lovely images of their quaintly dressed children crafting exquisitely detailed eggs. Not here, though. I know my kids (namely, Alice) and myself well enough that they put on their oldest clothes and dyed their eggs in the garage.

It really worked out very nicely. They were able to work as they pleased and I didn't have to worry about having permanent reminders of the day on the white countertops. In the immortal words of Charlie Sheen, "Winning!"

We got some paint q-tips that both the kids liked.

Alice mostly used these no-spill containers we found. Super winning!

Jack went the traditional route.

Have a happy Easter!
