Looks like a Hedge Apple to me. Not eatable for humans.

We call those horse apples! Don't eat it!
It is a hedge apple....not edible....but I think you can slice them crosswise thin and put them in the oven on really low and dry them and do something crafty with them....I think I've seen that somewhere.......RWBGMA
