For the Birds

Today we finally got our first bird feeder out. We actually got three different kinds, but two didn't come with the chains to hang them. Who knew?

Anyway, we got some of this birdseed and Jack filled the feeder.

Because of the weight of the feeder, we had to put it in the front yard, which isn't the greatest place for birdwatching. We will have to get some hooks to put some feeders in the back yard.

The weather was a little on the chilly side for April, but it was beautiful!

All in all, it was a pretty relaxing day. Hopefully we will have some singing visitors in the yard soon--I'll be sure to post some pictures when we do!
